The newest version of MEDIC FIRST AID's Pediatric Training Program is now available for purchase. It provides an ideal training solution for schools, child care providers, youth sports coaches, and others required to learn how to respond to medical emergencies involving children and adults. Updated to reflect the newest guidelines for CPR, the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and first aid, this versatile program offers treatment guidelines for all ages and offers two program options to accommodate a wide range of audience needs: Pediatric CPR and First Aid for Children, Infants, and Adults; and PediatricPlus CPR, AED, and First Aid for Children, Infants, and Adults.
In addition to CPR, AED, and basic first aid, the course material also provides students more detailed information on specific first aid problems.
Specific child care topics are also included to help meet child care training requirements. These topics focus on creating safe environments for children and preventing the occurrence of injury or illness.
Like the other MEDIC FIRST AID Version 6.0 training programs, the Pediatric training program features a smaller, lighter Student Guide with full-color pictures and images throughout. The Student Guide integrates with the program video and instructor materials to provide an effective, easy-to-use, system for training.

The Successful Completion Card in the Pediatric Student Pack indicates your student’s successful completion in CPR and first aid only; whereas, the Successful Completion Card in the PediatricPlus Student Pack indicates successful completion in CPR, AED, and first aid.
