Facilitating the learning experience
The instructional design of all MEDIC FIRST AID Training Programs provides the Instructor with a basic, flexible framework for how to present a class. And while the role of the Instructor is essential, we ask the Instructor not to teach as much as facilitate the learning experience. We think of our Instructors as guides, consultants, and facilitators.
There are three Instructor levels:
Instructor
Instructors are certified to train students in MEDIC FIRST AID Training Programs.
Trainer
Instructor Trainers are certified to train students and Instructors in MEDIC FIRST AID Training Programs.
Master
Master Instructor Trainers are certified to train students, Instructors, and Instructor Trainers in MEDIC FIRST AID Training Programs. Experienced MEDIC FIRST AID Instructors may apply to become Master Instructor Trainers.
We recommend that Instructors at the Trainer or Master level have appropriate qualifications in Medical/Emergency Medical Services and/or teaching, training, or education. Contact Sales for further information.
